Remembering Coretta Scott King

Courtesy of the Library of Congress After the death of Martin Luther King Jr., Coretta Scott King began promoting his legacy of equality, peace, nonviolence, and justice. She co-founded organizations, traveled the world making speeches, and as a memorial to her husband’s legacy, she created the Martin Luther King Jr. Center for Nonviolent Social Change.
