Anti Lynching Campaign

By November 30, 2012

Follow me on:

Ida B. Wells-Barnett was one of the most outspoken fighters participating in the anti-lynching movement.

However, Wells-Barnett was not the only fighter against lynching. Countless men and women, worked with organizations such as the Niagara Movement and the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP) to end lynching.

Men and women publishing African-American newspapers exposed the horrors of lynching through photographs that stand the test of time.
